A fun day. I climbed up from the Twin Peak Trail ... perhaps not the best way to get to West Twin since you have to go down through the gorge that separates East and West Twin. On my ascent I tried to contour the gully - big mistake ... horrible footing, steep - I got suckered in by watching the Dall Sheep just scamper around in the area without effort.
After crossing the gully, you just saunter up the main scree line on the left and follow the ridge to the top.
