Andy Von arrived in Alaska on June 13th and within a hour of his arrival I had him standing naked on the side of Alaska's busiest highway.
Besides getting him to completely repack within feet of double tractor trailers, I also persuaded him to head up Fall's Creek valley with Arc and me.
After a good haul, we found ourselves on the top of the valley's gem: South Suicide
By far the best part of the trip was the option to butt slide down !! Andy told me a story of growing up and hiking with his family ACROSS snow fields. He would whine to his mom, "Can't we just go down them ?!?" Today, Andy got his wish - I have never heard anyone hoot and holler so much :~}
