Finally - the Hot Tub to Hot Tub Traverse was done! Tim and I have talked about it for years and in perhaps the final winter possible, we pulled it off ... with the help of Adrienne, a trail that Tim put in and good weather!
The final descent was about 4500' - 2000' of which we skied happily (making a lap on the top section in beautiful snow); the last 2500' were a pretty good bushwack. This is perhaps the last time Adrienne smiled on the descent ... she is changing out of ski boots and into running shoes for the bushwack.
The real key to the trip was Anne ... when we finished, Tim called her from the ERNC, she came and picked us up, and had dinner waiting for us at their house!
