Well ... I started this weekend with plans of a grand, Chugach Traverse. The weather did not make me feel comfortable enough to try it so I scurried home after two days in the wind and did a few day climbs instead.

Day trip #1: Bold Peak

At the top of the fixed line ... the weather looked promising:
Then it deteriorated (but only long enough for me to climb the peak !)

Day trip #2: Eagle Peak
Jennifer, Tim, Ben, Arc, Zora, and I headed out to climb Eagle Peak on Monday. Zora got sidetracked on the way out and ended up having an adventure of her own (mostly spent in the car).
The weather did the EXACT SAME THING as on Sunday: it started out questionable, a bit of rain on the hike in, climbing in wind and snow, and then hiking out in beautiful sunshine !
