A few shots from our short overnight on the Matanuska River:
August seemed to do just fine. He always wanted to get onto the raft when we were ready to leave. We are not sure whether this was due to the fact that he really liked being on the raft or whether his fear of the raft was only slightly less than his fear of being abandoned.
