In a record-breaking stretch of warm weather, Adrienne, Arc, and I climbed Knoya in t-shirts and shorts on APRIL 27th !!  This is one day past the average last snowstorm in Anchorage.  The temperatures in town were recorded at 66 degrees this day, although our deck in the sun had temps in the 80s. 

We did hit some rotten snow:

Our original intent was to hike our skis in to this gully.  Carrying skis and boots in these temperatures did not really appeal to us - we lost enough sweat as it was:
