From my house, I was able to climb up onto the ridge and take it to Harp Mountain.  The day was perfect (notice that I am in a cotton t-shirt - a rarity when climbing in Alaska) so I continued along to the rim of the Hanging Valley and eventually up a couloir that led me to Hurdy Gurdy's summit.  The guest dog of the trip was Berryl.

Berryl checking out the coulior and the summit of Hurdy Gurdy in the distance.

Arc managed to get in the shot with Polar Bear, Hurdy Gurdy, and Eagle Peaks in the diestance.

From the top of the coulior, you could look down another route up from the Ealge River side.  Echo Bend is clearly visible in the photo.

Also from the top of the coulior, this shot shows Harp Mountain and a good bit of the ridge from Threebowls.

At the top, we were all pretty stoked that the weather held and the route was so enjoyable.

The trip did seem to wipe Arc out a bit, though ...

From the summit, there was a clear view of the east route up Calliope.

On the way back (via the Gash and Eagle Lake), Arc was mesmerized by a sandpiper in Eagle Lake.
