Grand Teton National Park, August 18th - 20th
After my AWLS conference, I spent three days hiking around in GTNP. I did a loop going up Paintbrush Canyon through the Alaska Basin and then down Death Canyon and back along the front country to Jenny Lake. It was a great loop with a few explorations off the trail to some nearby peaks. The weather was 100% sun - warm during the day and very cold at night (frost both nights). It packed very light and definitely felt the cold at night!
