Brad and I headed out to the Valley to look at Granite Peak.  The whole area was in the clouds so we headed up Eska Creek to a pass that Brad had visited before.  When we got to the pass, we were able to get above the clouds (we did not think this was possible) and walked a ridge towards Granite Peak.  The ridge cliffed-out just before the peak so we will have to save the peak for another day.  The day, overall, was fantastic - warm, windless, and sunny above 5000' !
