We awoke on the first day of our trip to beautiful sunshine. It turned into a scorcher of a day. I was the only one who had shorts (zip off pants) and was glad!
We started by walking an ATV trail out of Nabesna to the Jack River where we floated the Jack into the Nabesna River. We took out of the Nabesna River at Cooper Creek and started hiking up to Cooper Pass. We camped just before Cooper Pass.
