Informal Geometry Course Description

This course uses an inductive/intuitive approach to developing geometric concepts with emphasis on concrete experiences and applications.  The proper vocabulary for the logical development of geometric principles will be stressed.  Topics will include classifications of, properties of, and relationships between points, lines, planes, angles, similar and congruent triangles, circles, polygons, and polyhedrons; measurement; transformations; and constructions.
