Cirque of Towers, August 6th

I know from some of these photos it may not seem like it, but we awoke to rain.  We changed our plans from Wolf's Head to a tour of some of the other peaks in the area - Overhanging Tower and Shark's Nose.  This gave us a reason to go to the base of Wolf's Head (which we were hoping to do the following day) and scout it out a bit as well as try some of the other granite routes in the valley.  We ended up on top of Overhanging Tower in our sneakers.  We were about half way up on Shark's Nose when the rain came back.  We retreated back to camp, where it promptly got sunny again.

Really ... it was raining when we got up.

This was pretty much my view for the trip - following Yvonne.

Wildflowers!

And more wildflowers!
