Within the first week of school (or within the first week you are in my class, if you are transferring in after the first day of school), you need to complete the following three assignments.
§ Fill out the information sheet completely. Due by the second class meeting.
§ Go to my website. By surfing my website you will be able to fill in the information on the SURFING THE WEBSITE worksheet. Due by the third class meeting.
§ Bring in a photo and inspirational quote to be displayed on the classroom wall (note: please make this a photo you do not want returned; arrangements can be made to get the photo back at the end of the year but I cannot guarantee its condition). Due by the fourth class meeting.
§ Call your Math Buddies - you will provide for the class three interesting facts about one of your Math Buddies each day after the Photo/Quote is due (yes, you will only be asked to contact three of your four Math Buddies).
Each of these tasks will be worth three points - start the year off with a great grade in mathematics !!
