The day I climbed Calliope was absolutely perfect. Most of my shots from that day are of the surrounding peaks. The trip from my house, up the east side, down the north side, and home only took nine hours. The dogs (Abby Normal was on loan) slept well. This is a shot looking up the route I took off of the Flute Glacier. The summit is in the background.
This is another shot of the route I took. I wore running shoes, crampons, and carried an ice axe - light and fast.

I descended the north side (not my original intent ... Arc changed my plans). The north face of Calliope:
