Rook Peak 6.7
Another amazing weather day! I joined Ross and Dave for try on a stunningly striking line on Rook Peak (near Crow Pass). The line worked out great, depositing us within 50 feet of the summit! The snow in the gully was steep and a bit stiff so we worked our way over to the main snow face (glacier) for our descent. Luckily, Dave found us a great way over the bergshrund. All in all, it was an excellent outing with two folks I have not spent any time in the mountains with before but hope to do more with in the future.
