LCNP Trip 2
Tony, Becky and I went from Telquana Lake to Port Alsworth via a high route to Dick's cabin and then buttboating the Kijik River and Lake Clark (and lastly walking the lake shore back into town). Dan Oberlatz's came through for us again with his hospitality and route information. We had some tough weather on this trip but the route could not have been smoother. We lucked out in many ways on the trip but mostly for the fact the the water level was pretty low for the upper Kijik. We all think it would have been much rowdier if the water had been higher. Buttboating Lake Clark is not recommended but it was a great way to end the trip - just waltzing back into town.
