LCNP Trip 2: Day 4
Wild weather day. As we were walking around the lake, the wind must have
been around 20 mph. The whitecaps were breaking hard against the shore and
sending the spray all over us (thus, we started the day in drysuits). Even
so, the walk around the lake (at low water) was pretty benign and quick - about
3 or 4 hours. This gave us a great chance to catch up with K, Monroe, and
Chelsea in their warm cabin out of the rain (with all the popcorn we could eat).
We even managed to sweet talk K into giving us a tour of the cabin!
