LCNP Trip 1
Adrienne and I went from the inlet stream of Telquana Lake to Lake Clark via the Tlikakila River. We went over the Neacola Glacier and into the North Fork of the Tlikakila which we buttboated to get to the Tlikakila (and then stayed bobbing along in our buttboats all the way to the lake). We would never have been able to figure out what passes were appropriate without Dan Oberlatz's generosity. Not only did he willingly give us route information that he has worked for years developing but he did it with a smile and without any hesitation. He went even further and let us drain some highly prized resources at his cabin - hot water for showers after our trip and beers before we left. Here is what our trip looked like.
