Day 4   5.27

This turned out to be a big day.  We awoke early to climb Insignificant and Whiteout Peaks.  We were greeted on the Insignificant ridge with a set of steps which made the traveling very east and very quick.  I was able to skin all the way up Whiteout Peak after that (Tony and Becky dropped their skis along the ridge).  By 11:30am we were back at the hut.  It was such a nice day we decided to travel over to Rosie's Roost in the afternoon.  It was a pretty quick trip but definitely the part of the trip that had the greatest potential for a crevasse fall.  We made it in fine style (with a little bit of bobbing and weaving around) and happily dried out our stuff in the sun, again!

Sunrise on the Whiteout Glacier. Somewhere around 5am.

The steep bit. We had a stairway of frozen steps from Odin, Laron, and Arron. Thanks, guys!
